A Pitch Black Joint LLC ("we," "us," or "our") operates Wazo.work and the Move Abroad Without Guesswork planning tool. This policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and what your rights are.
All planning data you enter into the tool (fields, checklists, notes, dates) is saved exclusively to your browser's localStorage. It is never transmitted to our servers and we have no access to it. If you clear your browser storage, this data is permanently deleted.
We strongly recommend using the "Backup data" button in the tool toolbar to export and save a copy of your data.
We use Google Analytics 4 (GA4) to understand how people use the tool — which pages they reach, which actions they take, and where they stop. GA4 collects anonymous usage data including approximate location (country/city), browser type, and device type.
We do not use GA4 data to identify individual users. No names, email addresses, or personally identifiable information are sent to Google Analytics.

Premium purchases are processed by Stripe. When you pay, your card details and billing information are handled entirely by Stripe — we never see or store your full card number. Stripe provides us with confirmation that a payment was completed, and the email address associated with the payment, for the purpose of unlocking premium access.
We record a hashed reference to your Stripe checkout session in our database to prevent replay attacks. This record contains no personally identifiable payment data beyond the session reference and your email address.

The tool includes an optional email capture form (page 3 — "Why am I leaving?"). If you submit your email address, it is sent to Formspree and stored on their platform. We use this list to send occasional product updates. We do not sell, rent, or share this list.
You can request removal from this list at any time by emailing hello@wazo.work.

Inline feedback forms and the floating feedback button submit text to Formspree. These submissions may contain text you type, the page number you were on, and whether you rated the page helpful. No account or identifying information is required to submit feedback.
We do not set first-party cookies. GA4 sets third-party cookies for analytics purposes. Stripe may set cookies during checkout. The tool itself uses localStorage (not cookies) to save your planning data.
If you are in the European Economic Area, you have the right to access, correct, or delete personal data we hold about you. You may also object to processing or request portability of your data.
To exercise any of these rights, email hello@wazo.work. We will respond within 30 days.
This tool is not directed at children under 16. We do not knowingly collect data from children.
We may update this policy as the product evolves. Material changes will be noted with a new "Last updated" date at the top of this page.
